VOLUNTEER TEAMS
Set-Up Team (6 + needed)-
This team consists of Set-Up for the event, and CHECK-IN for all Vendor Relations (DJ, flowers, Hair/Makeup, photographers, videographers, and CHICK-FIL-A).
This team will be responsible for setting up and providing a respite room for any parents or caretakers that wish to stay for the event.
Respite Room: Love on the parents/ caretakers by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them Sensory Room: Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated on the dance floor or in other areas of the prom. Interact with them by singing, participating in sensory activities or simply providing them with some quiet time. Bathroom: help guests find the restrooms and offer assistance in the restroom if needed. If a guests needs more help than getting in and out of a stall or hand washing, it’s best to contact their parent/caretaker

Entertainment/ Shoe Shine Team (4-5 needed)-- This team sets up and participates in any additional activities, including karaoke, with the guests.
Ensure every guest receives a crown or tiara before entering Prom Gift Takeaway team: Manage gifts and help each guest collect their favors to take home -Also assist with event Tear-Down
Welcome Team (6 needed)-Crown/ Tiara giveaway/ Gifts
Red Carpet Team (20-35 needed)— Paparazzi, Transportation/ Parking
This team assists guests as they make their way down the red carpet, manage flow of traffic and cheer them on to make them feel welcomed.
Paparazzi: Take photographs and treat participants like honored guests and celebrities Transportation: Assist guests as they exit the vehicles and help them find registration area. Be available as guests return to their vehicles following the event. Parking: Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit -Assist with Set up at off-site pick up location (TBD)
** Largest Need***Buddy Team (As many honored guests as we have- currently need 94) Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with their guest during dinner and engage with them in conversation. We require buddies be at least 16 years of age or older.
Make sure honored guest is sufficiently reunited with parents/guardian at end of the evening -Also assist with event Tear-Down
Registration Team ( 8 + needed)- This team assists with the volunteer and guest registration check in
Responsible for greeting honored guests with a smile and connecting them to their buddy Give corsage or boutonniere to each honored guest Coordinate Limo rides for each guest and buddy

- Set-Up- Arrive at designated time and execute event set up, connect with DJ, audio/visual, activity and parking teams to ensure best possible layout.
- Volunteer Check-In- Greet volunteers, give them name badges and direct them to team leader
- Food- assist caterer with unloading food in main space and respite room
